Strolling along Penang beach

Does the idea strolling along white sandy beach calm you in some ways? If yes, just go for it. One of the beaches in Penang is the public beach near to Flamingo Hotel (by the beach) (formerly the Crown Prince Hotel) in Tanjung Bungah. The entrance to the beach is between some double storey houses. There is no specific parking lot but just park your car at the housing area or along the main road. It will be a 5-minute walk to the beach from the main road.
Scenic beach: the blue sky and the blue sea
This place is not a commercialized beach. So, you would expect more peace; lesser people and  no water sports operator. So, this is a place to take your kids for outdoor activity like building sandcastles or even go for a cool dip in the sea water.

There are some Casuarina trees providing shade along the beach. Therefore, this is also a good place for you to have a perfect barbecue gathering with your friends. However, there is no washroom on the beach. You may need to use the nearby hotel's washroom (secretly).

Parasailing activity at a distance
If you enjoy taking a stroll on the beach, it is advisable to wear your slippers to avoid treading on seashells or sharp stones. The sun sets about seven p.m. However, the view is blocked by some apartments so you will not be able to see it.

Last but not least, this is also a good spot for wedding photography. If you fancy taking your wedding photos by the beach, this is the place where there is lesser crowd and you can still get photographs of the blue sky (if it is not cloudy) and white sandy beach.
